Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to CBK-Core apps — CodeByKane apps that operate entirely on-device with no network connectivity. App-specific details are listed in the App Reference below.

2. Data We Collect

Nothing. Apps covered by this policy may store data locally on your device (like session history or settings), but that data:

• Never leaves your device
• Isn't synced to any cloud service
• Isn't accessible to us or anyone else
• Stays on your device for as long as the app is installed

There are no servers, no accounts, and no way for us to identify you.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where privacy law requires us to name a legal basis: we store data locally on your device solely to provide the functionality you've asked for. This falls under legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, making the app work as intended. No other processing takes place.

4. Network Access

CBK-Core apps don't connect to the internet. No analytics, no crash reporters, no ad SDKs.

5. Device Permissions

Each app requests only the permissions it needs — listed in the App Reference below. No app touches your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo library unless explicitly stated.

6. Data Export

Some apps let you export data via the system share sheet. Once a file leaves the app, it's entirely in your hands — governed by whatever you share it to.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and equivalent privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Since all data stays on your device and we can't access it, you exercise these rights directly — through your device settings, by editing or deleting data within the app, or by removing the app.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your country of residence if you feel your data isn't being handled fairly.

8. Changes to This Policy

If anything material changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date above and show an in-app notice where required. Continuing to use an app after an update means you're good with the new version.
